Turbo Athletics introduces a new high performance training program in the Chicagoland Area. February 10, 2010 - Chicago, IL - Turbo Athletics is delighted to announce the launch of its new website http://www.TurboAthletics.com. For years, professional athletes have used their own exercise and rehabilitation experts to create individualized off-season training programs. These complex workouts are designed for all sports to enhance speed, agility and strength, while simultaneously correcting any nagging injuries and imbalances that may have accumulated during the previous season or over a career. It has been a necessary luxury of competing at the most elite level. Now these training programs are available to competitive athletes in the Chicagoland area at Turbo Athletics. Turbo Athletics have found that the key to success in any sport is having more speed, agility and explosiveness than your opponent. Turbo Athletics accomplishes this by incorporating state of the art equipment, training drills, and sports specific techniques that allow their athletes to be superior to their competition. Turbo Athletics 's training programs integrate corrective strategies with flexibility, strength, speed, balance, agility and overall body strength training exercises that use multi-joint athletic movements with functional training equipment not found in most gyms. Turbo Athletics offers athletes work out routines that include speed ladders, medicine balls, speed hurdles, jump ropes and bands, which develop quick feet, change of direction, acceleration/deceleration, explosiveness, coordination and balance. Turbo Athletics offers 'private' and ‘group’ training sessions for all sports. According to coach Townsel, "We don’t aimlessly run kids through hurdles or around cones. We teach them to anticipate the ground from a variety of directions and how to prepare their body to accelerate and decelerate without any wasted energy." Coach Brian explains, "I believe that the difference between a GOOD performer and a GREAT performer is effort, determination, and an unrelenting drive to succeed. It is the things done, when no one is looking and when everyone else is resting that separate champions from participants.“ About Turbo Athletics Speed and Agility Program: If you have a prospective student athlete that would like to register for our training sessions, please give them a call at 312-285-9920 or visit the website at www.turboathletics.com |
